Colorful pi number coloring page.

Our Pi Day coloring page features a large circle (or is it a pie?) surrounding a large pi symbol. Also encircling the pi symbol is a string of numbers that begin pi, 3.14159265.......

As always, our coloring page was created exclusively for What Do We Do All Day? by children's illustrator and author, Melanie Hope Greenberg. Melanie has been making coloring page for us for over 10 years! Fun fact: although 10 is larger than pi, it has fewer digits.

Print it out here (By clicking on the following link you agree to our terms of service* see end of post) -->: Pi(e) Coloring Page

TIP: Use this pi coloring page as a fun boredom buster or include it your Pi Day celebrations along with one or more of these other fun Pi Day Activities, including our ever popular Pi City Skyline Math Art Project!

About the Illustrator

Melanie loves to eat pie while contemplating the irrationality of pi! She is also an award winning author and illustrator who loves to talk to children about the process of writing and illustrating books. Learn about how to bring her talk to your library or school, or request teacher guides for her books at her blog here.

Her books are favorites of children everywhere. Melanie's cheerful, vibrant illustrations can be found in her iconic book Mermaid Parade, which was listed as an essential Brooklyn book by the Brooklyn Public Library.
